Is SLU-PP-332 FDA-approved?
Not approved by the FDA. Products sold online as "research chemicals" aren't checked for purity, sterility or dose.
Overview
SLU-PP-332 is a small molecule (not a peptide) that activates estrogen-related receptors (ERRs), which drive muscle's response to endurance exercise. In mice it raised endurance and, in obese mice, increased energy use and reduced fat gain. There are no human studies.
How it works
It switches on ERRα, β and γ, which turn on genes for burning fat and building mitochondria in muscle.
How long does SLU-PP-332 stay in the body?
Not established in people.
What it's studied for
- Endurance in mice
- Obesity and metabolic syndrome in mice
- Heart failure (animal models)
Related: MOTS-c, Adipotide, 5-Amino-1MQ, HGH Fragment 176-191.
